Design of Preschool at Katraj
Designing for children always brings joy, isn’t it? They need a space that sparks curiosity, celebrates color, and encourages playful learning. And that’s exactly what we had in mind when we began designing the Little Millennium Preschool in Katraj, Pune.
So, our very idea was to create a vibrant, whimsical and comforting space from the very beginning. We wanted every corner to have a child-centric layout with flexible, transformable and innovative story-telling elements. Even the preschool classroom furniture was a part of the play; it was equally interactive, safe and inviting. And look up, and you’ll see a classic tree-style abstract ceiling design for a dynamic, colorful effect.
Thus, we eventually designed every detail, texture, tone and material in this preschool classroom layout to maximize space and boost learning. So for us, this project was more than just a classroom; it turned out to be a small, joyful world with enough curiosity and creativity for all!
