Design of Farm House at Shirwal, Pune
So, our journey to Shirwal, Satara began with two farmhouses and a simple brief. But once our team spent some time there, it became more like an opportunity to connect with the region’s roots and charm.
You see, our clients loved the local heritage at Shirwal. So, even we wanted to give their homes the same, familiar but nostalgic spaces that carry a sense of time. So, we simply built out the farmhouse design with stone walls, a classic tiled roof and vernacular architecture elements.
It was no different inside. We simply reused and repurposed old wooden doors and windows to life and added an earthy scheme, just like Shirwal’s heritage. So while both the farm house planning projects had the same materials, they had a unique vibe that matched the personalities of their owners.
You know, these twin farmhouse design project eventually reminded us why we build as one of the best architects in Pune. Like, we do want to create homes that feel connected, respect their site and tell stories of their people, just like this Shirwal farmhouse planning project.
